Fur Rondy is here and the Big Fat Ride is just around the corner. Come represent the hundreds of fat tire riders in Alaska during Fur Rondy. The entire fat biking community is invited to participate and share their support for biking in Anchorage. On Saturday, February 24th, the Big Fat Ride will follow the World Sled Dog Championship down 4th Avenue along the same route that the Iditarod ceremonial start will travel next weekend.

ITI Ceremonial Start
Cheer for the Iditarod Trail Invitational riders (ITI) who have traveled from all around the world to Anchorage, Alaska. They will be making their trek along the 100-mile, 300-mile, and 1,000+ mile route to Nome. Click here for more details on the Iditarod Rail Invitational.
Big Fat Ride
The Big Fat Ride kick off will follow the ITI riders down 4th Avenue to Cordova for a 4.5-mile route onto the trail system towards Westchester Lagoon and the along the Coastal Trail back downtown. All riders must wear a helmet and display their bib when participating in the Big Fat Ride. For the safety of all riders and your pets, we request that dogs are not brought on the route during the Big Fat Ride. Register now!
AFTER THE RIDE PARTY & BIKE ANCHORAGE RAFFLE
After the Big Fat Ride, everyone is invited to a party at 49th State Brewing with Bike Anchorage board members are selling 500 raffle tickets for $20.00 each. They have 45 prizes and will pull winners after the Big Fat Ride with drinks and snacks. You do NOT need to be present to win!
